What a view, white bloom against cloudy sky. It is going to be a colourful Spring indeed since white is the aggregate of 7 colours in a rainbow!! Cheers, ~bangchik
Maxabella- yes, it does seem early, but that's from a Tasmanian perspective (we're in Melbourne). Interestingly, this is the earliest that I've had flowers: the last two years I walked the streets and wonder why everyone else's jonquils are already in bloom but this year I'm not far off. I wonder whether they get a bit earlier once they've been in the ground for a while (or are otherwise settled?)
Bangchik, MultipleMum- thanks! I do hope it WILL be a colourful Spring- certainly lots of other bulb shoots are emerging...
I'm happiest when I'm growing something, according to my husband B. He's right, and this is my blog of the growing projects in my life: our sons (aged 2 and 4 years), and our suburban garden.

I'm a bit worried about signs of Spring in mid-July... does that worry you too? Or are you quite far north that this is usual?

We've got the first signs of our bulbs breaking through the earth. No flowers here. Yours look gorgeous!
