Our garden seems to have had rubbish buried in it in places, judging from the odds and sods we pull out. Most is useless; the marble and the hook are two of the best. My favourite was a toy car very similar to this: http://chelmek.org/harry-car/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/jaguar_ss100.jpg. Unfortunately it was pretty far gone and some helpful person accidently threw it out!! (Which was a fair enough call)
I'm happiest when I'm growing something, according to my husband B. He's right, and this is my blog of the growing projects in my life: our sons (aged 2 and 4 years), and our suburban garden.

An archeological dig! What a great idea. That marble is a keeper.

Ooh, fun. That reminds me - I still need to post a picture of the items from our own archeological dig last year.
