Ooh... you need to walk past and throw more seeds in! Every time I collect cornflower seeds from my garden I think how I should scatter them on the sidewalk, on vacant blocks, in parks...
LOL!! We went on a steam tram ride down at Thirlmere last summer and a yellow wildflower was growing all along the tracks. My MIL told me that during wartime (??) a lady started a trend of scattering the seeds along all the train tracks in NSW. Not sure how correct my version is of that but it's a lovely story!
Nicer than the similar intentions of Baron Ferdinand von Mueller who encouraged the spread of blackberries in Australia as food for the weary traveller!
I'm happiest when I'm growing something, according to my husband B. He's right, and this is my blog of the growing projects in my life: our sons (aged 2 and 4 years), and our suburban garden.

More to the point, I need to collect some seeds!!
You, on the other hand, need to research seed bombing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seed_bombing
I have been threatening a friend with seed bombing her vacant block with tomato-and-basil seed bombs.
